A Trio Of Capes: Cape May

A TRIO OF CAPES

Fond of translating wordplay into fabric, Kluger combines the dual meaning of “cape” as an upper-body outer garment and a geographical formation in three highly contrasting, semicircular pieces:

CAPE MAY

Is there anyone in the Northern Hemisphere who doesn’t love the month of May, filled with blooming flowers, gentle breezes, and limpid skies?  This cape, named for the seaside resort region in southern New Jersey, invokes the gentle glories and pastille hues of spring with its infinite sensual delights.
